For more than thirty years Daniel Dempster has roamed the backroads and wild places of America seeking out and capturing the beauty of this wonderful land. Whether he is photographing the powerful thoroughbreds of Kentucky as they thunder down the stretch at Churchill Downs or roaming a stark and rugged Maine coastline searching for the perfect combination of composition and light, he is at home with a camera in his hand. Thank you Robert. I shot this yesterday. It isn't listed on any of the trail maps of the Smokies. In fact the trail is small and isn't listed either. I wish I knew what it is named.
