Whether he is photographing the powerful thoroughbreds of Kentucky as they thunder down the stretch at Churchill Downs or roaming a stark and rugged Maine coastline searching for the perfect combination of composition and light, he is at home with a camera in his hand. Thank you Debra and Dave. I shot this quite a few years ago. I got a interesting call from a guy not too long after this image was used in a calendar. He said it was his boat and the woman sitting in back was his mom who was in her 70's. He said that they had been teasing by telling her that it took her 70 years but she finally became a calendar girl. He asked that I make a large print for him which I did. I hope his mom is still around and enjoying her calendar pic.
