Absolutely beautiful! Great capture of light and mood! The joker in me wants to say "When is that bus going to get here?" . . .fav/v15

Great capture...all my years of hunting, this was the most common seen for me;) v
Daniel Dempster replied:
Thank you Jack. I've never been a deer hunter but I do a lot of quail and pheasant hunting.

Daniel--I would like more information on this around Pigeon Forge--thanks--Nava

A grand view of the mountains, and the backside of the head and antlers makes for a unique and exciting viewing experience! Most people only see the angle of the deer like this when they are running away. Like it, Daniel!
Daniel Dempster replied:
Thank you Randy. It was fun and challenging to try and position myself to get the best view of the mountains and deer at the same time. He was constantly moving and grazing. When he lifted his head I knew I had my shot.
Daniel Dempster replied:
This was shot last year during the Wilderness Wildlife Week in Pigeon Forge. I normally do a program on the first Saturday of the event with Tom and Pat Cory, Harold Stinnette, and Kendal Chiles. This year I will do that program in addition to putting on programs Monday and Tuesday as well. Also, Harold and I plan on leading a group out to shoot in Cades Cove on that Sunday. Pigeon Forge puts on a great event during that week and it is well worth checking out. All the programs are free and the room rates are low that time of year.

Daniel--this one too my breath away when I first saw it. I voted for it in our contest--and just gave it a f/v. I love to find Elk in RMNP--but this has it all.
Daniel Dempster replied:
Thank you Nava. My son and I were in RMNP in 2007. We spent three weeks shooting in Colorado and Utah. I'd like to spend more time shooting there.
