Thank you very much. I was in Scotland for three weeks back in 2006. The first week was spent working on a book project and then my wife flew over and we spent two weeks shooting in the highlands. It wasn't nearly enough time and I want to go back again. It is a beautiful country. Castle Stalker was one of my favorite castles.

For more than thirty years Daniel Dempster has roamed the backroads and wild places of America seeking out and capturing the beauty of this wonderful land. Whether he is photographing the powerful thoroughbreds of Kentucky as they thunder down the stretch at Churchill Downs or roaming a stark and rugged Maine coastline searching for the perfect combination of composition and light, he is at home with a camera in his hand. What started as a passionate hobby in 1980 soon blossomed into a full-time career. In 1988 Daniel had four images featured in the Kentucky Derby Museum. Work with the horse racing industry soon followed and in 1990 he was asked to be official photographer for the Kentucky Derby Festival. He held that position...
